Meet the 2023 Non-Profit Groups
Outreach
The mission of Outreach is to provide safe water, food, medical care and education to children and those in need at home and abroad. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, over the last 17 years Outreach has helped to package nearly 580 million meals that have been distributed across the United States and around the world. The program is supported in part by sales of African arts and handcrafts.
Ionia Community Library
The primary mission of the Ionia Community Library is to be the local information resource center for leisure and learning and to provide that information in a reliable, safe and non-intimidating environment to our patrons in an attempt to lead them from childhood to being life-long readers and learners.
We are happy to share our love of learning and creating with our neighbors in Charles City by teaching a free small make-and-take craft (likely origami) and handing out bookmarks during Art-a-Fest!
Floyd County Museum
The Floyd County Museum's mission is to keep alive an active interest in Floyd County history by collecting, preserving, and interpreting materials related to Floyd County history.For Art-a-Fest we will have a display showcasing the history of Art-a-Fest and some of the shared history between the Arts Center and the Floyd County Historical Society!
