There is something irresistible about tiny pieces of porcelain.  I love shaping these tiny pendants with my fingers.  I then carefully glaze this little ceramic tab with a satin black glaze and fire it to 2340º F in my gas fired kiln.  Then I add the 22K gold splash and fire it again to a lower temperature.  The gold takes on the qualities of the glaze it is on, thus the gold is also a satin matt.  This chunky little rectangle measures approximately 5/8" high and 1/2" wide and a little less than 1/4" deep.  I choose a very fine thin chain for the pendant to hang on, 14K gold filled and nickel free, as are the jump rings and clasp.
