I throw this bowl on the wheel from grolleg porcelain. Its deeper than it is wide and a great size for breakfast and soups. Glazed in glossy clear glaze with a cobalt splash and then fired to 2340º F in my gas fired kiln for a durable finish. The design is a modern take on classic Japanese porcelain decoration. Measures 5 1/2" wide by 2 5/8" high. Porcelain is a beautiful medium and also strong, its actually stronger than stoneware and less likely to chip or break. I use all non toxic materials and these bowls are food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
