All submitted designs will be displayed here on our website during the month of August, and in our information booth during Art-a-Fest where you can cast your vote. Whichever design gets the most votes during Art-a-Fest will be our next logo!
"My husband and I went to Portugal for a post Covid honeymoon. I fell in love with the countless variations of hand painted tile wherever we went. I'm beyond fascinated by all of the tile versions, colors and history! This design is based on a photo I took of 3 blue and white tiles side by side. I wanted something that represents those beautiful patterns while also incorporating hints of watercolor and the gorgeous hues that I love so much in art."
"This logo was inspired by the variety of art you may find at the Charles City Art-A-Fest, from fabric work to paintings and chalk art lining the sidewalks from inspired little ones. The vibrant colors embrace the positive, bright, youthful energy found within those who visit and participate in the festival. I hope these eye-catching colors will draw the eye of future festival visitors. Additionally, I added a corn cob to capture some of that Iowa pride I see within much of the artwork."
